A wish fantasy story with a witty and refreshing twist. Follow the 'hero' Barry, though he's not fond of the name his parents landed him with, on his adventure to another world where parents don't have children. You see Barry blames his parents for everything, from his name to being boring so one day he wishes that he had better parents................. cue a hilarious and page-turningly entertaining novel for any child to enjoy.
Once again my son Sid was gripped with the book, finishing it in record time. "I really liked it. The idea of trying out different parents was awesome. Barry wanted parents the opposite of his and the results were really funny!" (Sid aged 11) "I think both boys and girls would enjoy this book, the characters were interesting and the story kept me reading. I liked the twist at the end."

This is another great book for kids. I can only thank the publishers for their kindness in allowing me to review their books. I must compliment the author, this story shows a clear insight into the minds of children and certainly captured both the attention and imagination of my son. We both look forward to his next kids book.
